Repentace,Need of Time

أَوَلَا يَرَوْنَ أَنَّهُمْ يُفْتَنُونَ فِي كُلِّ عَامٍ مَّرَّةً أَوْ مَرَّتَيْنِ ثُمَّ لَا يَتُوبُونَ وَلَا هُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ    

اور کیا ان کو نہیں دکھلائی دیتا کہ یہ لوگ ہر سال ایک بار یا دو بار کسی نہ کسی آفت میں پھنستے رہتے ہیں (١) پھر بھی نہ توبہ کرتے اور نہ نصیحت قبول کرتے ہیں۔

 See they not that they are tested once or twice in every year ? Still they turn not in repentance, neither pay they heed. (Al-Quran)

Pakistan, a country under direct attack of catastrophes ranging from natural to  leadership to public. A county  effected by floods and rains  and this took place every year, causing billions of dollars  of damage both human and infrastructural. A county where 3-5 planes crashed in past years and brought  many families in grief and piety. A county where suicidal attacks become norm. A country where 127 cops  died just because of land sliding.

A country  whose prime ministers and his sons are involved  in severe level of corruption. A county with president who  win a title of Mr. 10%. A country  which remains in darkness for 18 hours a day. A country where  economy is on its death bed. A county where religious  people are selling Islam, just to project their own intentions. A country where security forces are the sign of horror instead of security A country where everyone from a labor to the president are involved in  corruption.

No one want to understand that why all this  going on. what will be the outcomes of all this. why everyone is so blind in making money. Do they have peace in their life instead of all luxuries which most of times earned by unfair means…? It is time to think  that there is something serious wrong and that is  Allah is angry with Pakistan. when I read the above verse of Quran I thought it is for the people of Pakistan. It’s time for collective repentance. This is the only way to ask forgiveness form Allah. It’s time for saying…

فَقُلْتُ اسْتَغْفِرُوا رَبَّكُمْ إِنَّهُ كَانَ غَفَّارًا

اور میں نے کہا کہ اپنے رب سے اپنے گناہ بخشواؤ (١) (اور معافی مانگو) وہ یقیناً بڑا بخشنے والا ہے

And I have said: Seek pardon of your Lord. Lo! He was ever Forgiving. (Al Quran)

If we don’t do that and continue the same routine than a bottomless pit of humiliation is very near to us…..
